New Year, New Tyme, New Energy

While I had forgotten all about blogging during the second half of 2010. I had not forgotten my heart, in fact I had unwrapped it from its previous packing and it now has a new light that shines on it.

Last year was pretty amazing, but since it is in the past. I will gather all my energy from my memories and use those to help propel me into the futureeeee. Space and time constraints are falling away like pieces of old timber to an aging ship that is collecting barnacles at the bottom of the ocean.

Love is the choice for 2011 and beyond. All of that old anger, stress and malice are far removed and this is a new age a new beginning. I see new children being born all of the time, friends getting married and live moving forward. I can see this and marvel in the thought that all of the old will eventually give way to the new. Just as the old year has ended and this new year has began.

Sometimes I get so focused on what I want I tend to forget the bigger picture. Now is the time where I feel comfortable with my inner self to not be so greedy and to share what magic I hold on the inside. In the past 14 days of this new year, I have made a conscious effort to help those who let out cries. It has become a strain to ignore them and a blessing to help. I enjoy the new energy and hopefully with a little inspiration from life I will be posting more.

I am unsure of what is going on inside of me, but there is a creative force that is brewing. I have found my old passion to draw and yet I now also paint and write. I am not going to question it as much as I would have in the past. But I will embrace it with a smile and a warm heart.

Much Love

Hey hey heyyyy

Friday 4-30-10

I just returned home from a vacation in Panama Beach and it was amazing. The emerald green water and the peace was exactly what I needed. It allowed me to go deep on the inside and really stop hearing whats on the outside. Today I am watching Dr. Tal Ben-Shahar on Positive Psychology and I really really recommend Googling: Harvard Dr. Tal D. Ben-Shahar. He speaks very well and talks about bringing happiness into the external world through going deeper in the internal world. Really hits home for me.

I'll fill in more soon :)

Loving Life more and more everyday, I also came up with a quote. "Heres the present, smile its a gift just for you."

Wow, what a wonderful start to the day.

I was reflecting today about school coming to a close. Well, heres a bit of background info; I transfered from a community college last summer into a University here in FL. Today and tomorrow are my official last days of classes this school year. This brings us up to the present, I was reflecting today about how school was coming to an end for the year. I began to ponder over all of the people and experiences I achieved during the school year (side note, I am beginning to reflect on my life as a whole now).

I have met many new people that have come so deep to my heart this year. A place usually reserved for close family -n- friends. Moving on to a reflection, for some unexplained reason this year I joined the men's rowing team at my University during the beginning of the Fall semester (now being the end of spring term). I can try explain why I joined but in all honesty it was a feeling I had. Feelings in my opinion are subjective experiences that to fully understand you have to subject yourself to the same experience to understand 100% empathy. Regardless it was a feeling that I had deep inside me almost like a fire. It was a yerning to try something new. What did I want to try out . . . this was the question I had been asking myself leading up to this point in my life. Physically speaking it was time to test out this body of mine, I had been training it for several months and months and months. With no goal in mind, just to train my body as hard as I train my mind. I might get into that later, but for now ill stay focused. My body was primed and my attention was set, becoming a rower was it. This passion during the beginning of my rowing knowledge allowed me to be open-minded enough to know this was going to be hard but the experience will be worth it in the end. Now here at the end, I can fully say that I have enjoyed all aspects of the experience. The people, the training, the rowing, the traveling, the competing and the winning. I could go on and on about this, maybe I will later but for now. I want to go train, its wonderful here in FL this time of year. We see it as; right after the winter cold- right before the summer heat. Its that middle ground that really makes the experience worthwhile. Whether we see it in the weather or we see it in our lives, the middle ground makes the journey worthwhile.

This video sums up my attitude toward all of my experiences during this year both in school and at home.
